Thanks to everyone who came out for opening weekend. Seeing the hill come alive again, with familiar faces and first-timers alike, means a lot to our entire Bear Valley team. We’re excited to kick off another season with you.

The weather didn’t make the start easy, but our team got the mountain open. With only a few resorts operating in California this weekend, we’re grateful you joined us.

We can’t wait to welcome you back this weekend! For now, we’ll continue with weekend operations (Sat + Sun) until we transition to seven-day-a-week operations on Friday, Dec.19th, 2025

Our Pass Office also shifts to seven days a week starting Monday, Dec.1st, 2025. Stop by for pass purchases or pickups from 9am–4pm Monday through Friday and 8:30am–4:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Snowmaking Update

Our team fired up the snow guns overnight and will continue making snow anytime temperatures allow. We’ll keep pushing to expand terrain as conditions line up.

Murphys On The Mountain

We’ve got a great lineup to keep the season rolling. Join us on the sundeck for live music, plus the kickoff of our new Murphys on the Mountain wine series on Saturday, Dec.6th! Throughout the season, local winemakers from the Murphys region will be joining us to share their wines and offer tastings (available for purchase). This saturday, Brian Klassen from Hovey and Klassen wines will be joining us!

It’s a chance to support our local winemaker friends, meet the people behind the bottles, and get a taste of the incredible wine country just 40 minutes down the road.

Sky High Pizza Is Serving Up Favorites Again

Sky High Pizza, located inside the Bear Valley Lodge, is back for the season. Enjoy signature pizzas made with fresh, seasonal ingredients on house-made dough, along with a full menu of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and a full bar. With multiple TVs and plenty of space to relax, it’s a great place to catch a game, meet up with friends, or grab a casual meal with the family. Dine in or take it to go.
