Winter Kicks Into Gear: Projected Opening Is November 28th

Yesterday, our team kicked off snowmaking thanks to a great stretch of cold temperatures. We picked up 20" of fresh snow from the recent storm, which gives us a solid base to build on. Even with this new snow, conditions still aren’t quite where they need to be for opening but we’re getting close!

Our snowmaking crew is working around the clock to take advantage of every window of low temps, and solid snowmaking conditions are here to help us stay on track for the projected opening date of Friday, November 28th, 2025. 

Our team is ready to open as soon as everything lines up, and we’ll keep you updated as we get closer.

Sale Dates: Begins Friday, Nov. 28th, 12:01 AM and ends Monday, Dec. 1st, 11:59 PM

Valid Stay Dates: Sundays through Thursdays from January 4th – April 16th (non holiday).

Package Details: Includes a one-night stay at the Bear Valley Lodge and two lift tickets (valid for the following day) or a two-night stay at the Bear Valley Lodge and four lift tickets (valid for the following two days)

Choose from rooms: Single Queen, Queen with twin, King, or Double Queen. (Family Studio and King Suite not included.) 14% room tax and $20 resort fee per night

Booking Modifications: The Black Friday Stay & Ski promotion can only be transferred to a new date if the change is made during the Black Friday sales period, from 12:01 AM on November 28th, 2025, to 11:59 PM on December 1st, 2025. Reservations and deposits may be adjusted within this timeframe; however, changes made after Cyber Monday will result in the package reverting to standard Stay & Ski rates. If you contact Bear Valley Lodge by emailing bvlodging@bearvalley.com or leave a phone message before midnight on December 2nd, your Black Friday deal can be transferred to the specified new date.
