DECK THE SLOPES: WHITE CHRISTMAS FORECASTED
We’re aiming to welcome you back on December 25th or 26th! A big storm is moving in on December 23rd, and we could see several feet of snow by the time it wraps up after Christmas.
Keep an eye on our Conditions & Updates page and social media channels as the storm rolls in, this is where we’ll share which terrain will be open as we get closer to re-opening.
Your snow dances are working, we can’t wait to see you on the hill soon!

Upcoming Events

Pressure Drop Screening & Patrol Benefit
Join us for an evening in support of the Bear Valley Ski Patrol on Saturday, December 27th at the Bear Valley Lodge from 6:30pm to midnight! We’re working to raise funds for at least three of our patrollers to attend a Professional Level 1 Avalanche course. We’ll kick off the night with a few words from our Ski Patrol Director, Fred Ackerman, and Assistant Director, Patrick Kamman, followed by a free screening of Pressure Drop, the new film from Teton Gravity Research.
Throughout the night, guests can take part in raffles for a chance to win ski gear and merchandise. We’ll also be offering drink specials and several ways to contribute directly to our fundraising efforts! After the film we will have live music in the Cathedral Lounge.
It’s a chance to spend time with the community, support the team that looks after us, and help our patrollers continue their training. All are welcome!

NYE Celebration
Join us for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration filled with music, excitement, and a touch of magic!
Kick off the evening with live music from Kiana Chanelle from 5:00–8:00 PM in the Cathedral Lounge. Then make your way over to Sky High and dance the night away as our live DJ spins your favorite tunes. Count down to midnight with a spectacular balloon drop in Sky High, and keep the celebration going outside at 12:05 AM with a dazzling fireworks display presented by the Bear Valley Business Association, lighting up the night sky in grand style.
Bring your friends, your family, and your best dance moves, this is one New Year’s Eve party you won’t want to miss!
Please note: Sky High will be open to the public until 9 PM. Beginning at 9 PM, Sky High will be exclusively reserved for New Year’s Eve ticket holders. NYE party tickets can be purchased at the lodge front desk. Grizzly will be open for regular hours, and Creekside will be open for dinner with a special New Year’s Eve menu (reservations recommended).

Chef Nolan Schmidt has curated a five-course New Year’s Eve dinner that delivers a full, celebratory progression of flavors and it’s one you won’t want to miss.
Seatings begin at 5 PM, last seating is at 9 PM, and reservations are already moving quickly! Priced at $85 per person.
