A Fresh 3 Inches and Snowmaking Gears Up
This last storm brought us 3 inches of fresh snow, bumping our season total to 24 inches and there’s more on the way next week!
Our snowmaking team has been busy getting everything ready for the season. Over the Summer, they completed a top-to-bottom tune-up of the snowmaking system, including full electrical maintenance and capacity upgrades for Cub Meadow and Koala.
We’ve also added two new tower fan guns on Grouse Connection to help speed up the opening of the backside. Plus, some tech upgrades including new automation software and updated control panels that will make the system even more efficient and ready to roll once temps drop.
The guns are already set up on the hill, and the team’s just waiting for those cold nights to kick things off. Stay tuned, Winter’s shaping up nicely!
Grizzly Lounge Reopens with a Fresh Look and Flavor
The Grizzly Lounge, located in Bear Valley Village officially reopened yesterday and was met with a packed house of guests enjoying the sleek new look and refreshed menu. The new cocktail list features a full lineup of drinks created in collaboration with our friends at Hinterhaus Distilling, showcasing their locally crafted spirits.
The Grizzly Lounge is now open Wednesday through Saturday, except for Thursday, November 13th and Friday, November 14th, when it will be closed for a private event.
