After last week's historic snowfall, we are in for more fun today! Take advantage of our midweek ticket packs or our stay & ski special giving you two lifts tickets and one night stay at the Bear Valley Lodge to enjoy all the fresh snow!


ARNOLD POWER OUTAGE & COMMUNITY SAFETY UPDATE


PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ARNOLD, CA IS CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING A MAJOR POWER OUTAGE, WITH DOWNED POWER LINES AND FALLEN TREES IN MANY NEIGHBORHOODS, MANY BUSINESSES AFFECTED, SERVICES ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED IN ARNOLD, WE RECOMMEND STOPPING IN MURPHYS BEFORE HEADING UP, OR PURCHASING WHAT YOU NEED ONCE YOU ARRIVE IN BEAR VALLEY.


EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE ACTIVELY ASSISTING ARNOLD RESIDENTS WITH DOWNED POWER LINES AND FALLEN TREES. PLEASE GIVE CREWS SPACE TO WORK.


DO NOT PARK ALONG HIGHWAY 4. DO NOT PLAY IN THE SNOW IN NON-DESIGNATED SNOW PLAY AREAS. AND PLEASE BE MINDFUL AND PATIENT WITH LOCAL RESIDENTS WHO ARE WORKING HARD TO DIG OUT OF THEIR HOMES.


WE APPRECIATE EVERYONE DOING THEIR PART TO KEEP THE COMMUNITY SAFE.


IMPORTANT REMINDERS


As always, please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and check road conditions before heading up.


When traveling to the mountains:

  • Slow down and drive for conditions.

  • Check road conditions before you go.

  • Carry chains and know how to use them.

  • Pack snacks, water, and blankets.

MONDAY MASTERS CLINICS


Masters Clinics are happening today for advanced skiers and snowboarders ready to fine-tune technique, push their limits, and make the most of these stacked conditions. It's not too late to sign up for today's clinics, purchase online or by phone by contacting our lessons team at lessons@bearvalley.com


Masters Clinics: Intermediate to Advanced Skiers, Ages 50+


These clinics are perfect for skiers interested in exploring new terrain, improving technique to expand skills in a variety of conditions, and meet new friends!  Enjoy learning within a compatible group dynamic, facilitated by an experienced instructor.


Options available for advanced beginners through intermediate level, and intermediate through advanced abilities.


Participants should be comfortable on groomed green and blue runs, ready to explore off piste blue terrain and black groomed runs. 


Wrap up the session with a warm beverage and pastry in the cafeteria!
