1:24pm Update: Lifts will re open at 1:35pm!

1:01pm - Lightning hold in effect, we just received another lightning strike. Lightning hold in effect until 1:31pm

1:00pm - Lightning hold remains in effect until 1:18pm. We will provide an update at 1:18pm

12:37pm: We received a lightning strike at 12:30pm, we will provide an update at 1pm. We reasses every 30 mintues.

12:00PM: Lightning hold remains in effect, we will provide an update at 12:30pm. If there is active lightning observed in the general vicinity of Bear Valley Mountain Resort (within 10 miles of the area) we must wait 30 minutes and have no other lightning strikes before reopening.

11:40AM: All chairs are on lightining hold as of 11:40am, we will provide updates on re-opening of lifts here.
