Registration is based on space availability determined by instructor/child ratios. Walk-ins are welcomed daily and will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
BV EXPRESS Group lessons/lesson packages, rentals and tickets for the whole family can be purchased at this location.
ARRIVE EARLY!
Hitting the slopes with the wee ones can be an organizational challenge. Our goal is to ensure you have a great ski/snowboard lesson experience and arriving early (on-time) is key! Families need to arrive at least ONE HOUR ahead of their desired lesson time (1.5 HOURS DURING HOLIDAYS) to purchase packages, get fitted with rental equipment and still have time to grab a quick snack and visit the restroom before heading out to the lesson meeting area. 
CHILDREN'S CENTER (ages 4-8)
A 300’carpet lift and friendly instructors create the perfect learning environment for your snow angels. Our basic program includes adult supervision, lift ticket, equipment and a 1.5 hour ski or snowboard group lesson. We highly recommend starting snowboard lessons at age 7. Bear Valley's dedicated Children's Center is located on the front side of the Lodge, left of the ticket windows. There we'll process the lesson order, fit the little ones for ski/board equipment and then they're ready to head to the lesson meeting area.
Request a reservation. Reservation requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Your request may not guarantee a lesson reservation. Our reservation specialists will contact you to confirm the reservation.

LESSONS
FOR AGES 9-12
Ski or snowboard group lesson, lift and rental packages for this age range are available daily; no reservations. Purchase at the Snow Sports Instructional Office or at the equipment rental shops. Classes are organized by comparable age and ability. Child packages include an all-day, all-mountain lift ticket, complete ski or snowboard equipment rental and a group lesson.
