7AM UPDATE - RESORT CLOSURE ON FRIDAY, FEB. 20TH
- Bear Valley

Due to the closure of Highway 4 in Dorrington, CA, access to the mountain is currently unavailable and many of our employees are unable to safely reach the resort.
We are awaiting an updated timeline for reopening from California Highway Patrol and Caltrans. Because highway access remains closed at this time, we will not operate today.
We do have several dedicated team members hunkered down at the resort, along with additional departments currently on site, working hard to dig us out and prepare for reopening.
Our plan is to operate tomorrow, as long as access to the resort is restored.
We will continue to provide updates on highway conditions as we receive them.
REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Wednesday February 18th and Thursday February 19th, our team had to make the difficult decision to not open the resort. Today, Friday, February 20th, 2026 we will be closed as well.
We will be refunding all lift ticket, lesson and rental purchases made on these dates back to the credit card they were originally purchased on. Please understand that due to the volume of purchases scheduled for those dates, we anticipate that it may take up to 7 -10 business days to process these refunds, but please know that we are making every effort to complete this process as soon as possible.
Additionally, anyone who made a purchase using single use coupon codes such as Season Passholder Buddy Tickets or other promotions, we will be emailing out a replacement code to the email address used to make the purchase. We expect to send those replacement codes out within the next 7-10 days as well.
We greatly appreciate your patience and continued support for Bear Valley Mountain Resort.
