10:35am Update: Polar Express now spinning!
9:12am Update: Polar Express on a delayed opening this morning
8:00am Update: Our 24hr snow total is 23"!!! Total daytime snow accumulation today is projected to be 22 - 28 inches.
Tonight: New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.
6:30AM Update: As of 6am the new snow total is 23" & counting! Due to the high winds today, Cub, Mokelumne Express, & Polar Express will be the only lifts spinning.
As of 5AM, we’ve received 22 inches of fresh snow at Bear Valley and it is still snowing! 10 inches during the day & an additional 12" as of 5am!
This storm cycle is delivering in a big way. The mountain is transforming hour by hour, and we’ll have your official 24-hour total at 8AM.
With this much snowfall, please plan for potential delays this morning. Our mountain operations team is actively digging out lifts and conducting avalanche mitigation work to ensure a safe opening. As winds increase throughout the day, lift holds are also possible.

Groms Big Day Out: Intro to Park - Ski & Snowboard
This is an introductory session open to skiers and riders looking to get their start in park riding! Experienced park instructors will guide our young students through SMART Style (Terrain Park Safety), and park progressions, beginning with our features located in Cub Park. Flat maneuvers moving into air, bump, jumps and boxes will be introduced in a welcoming setting, providing students with the confidence to grow their skills.
Participants must have the ability to load/unload the chairlift independently and have intermediate skills on green and blue terrain.
Dates: Saturday February 28th and Saturday March 14th
