The Best of Bear Valley Skiing and Resort Amenities

Bear Valley Lodge and Mountain Resort provide a variety of activities and amenities, including skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, hiking trails, swimming pools, and hot tubs. Our lodge has a relaxed and cozy old-school feel with all the modern amenities our guests love! Enjoy skiing in California at our premium spot.

The area opened to guests in 1967 and, since then, has become a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike, snowboarding California and all the best winter activities. Whether you come to hit the slopes, relax in one of our hot tubs, or enjoy an incredible view from one of our many observation areas, Bear Valley Lodge and Mountain Resort have something special for everyone!

Ski Amenities

Season Pass

Bear Valley Skiing Ski passes are valid from April 2022 – April 2023. There are many benefits to choosing a ski pass.

Pass holders aged 13+ receive discounts on group lessons, retail items, and lodging.

Also, all season pass holders are invited to the Annual Appreciation Barbecue each year.

Lift Tickets

Guests may purchase tickets in advance online or at the ticket window for Bear Valley snowboarding and skiing.

Once purchased, lift tickets are non-refundable and not transferable.

Lessons

Guests ages 4 and up can learn to ski or snowboard in a safe and supportive atmosphere. Book group or private lessons online!

Season Lockers

We have East and West side lockers of three different sizes. Store your gear here and keep your living space clear! Save the hassle of hauling your skis and snowboard and hit the powder sooner.

Teams

We have all mountain and racing ski and snowboard teams. Find the right coach and crew for you to improve your athletic ability.

Preferred Parking

All parking lots are free on nonpeak days. We have preferred parking directly in front of the lodge for a fee. We do allow RVs and overnight parking.

Equipment Rentals

Our ski and snowboard rental shop is open from 8:30 am to 4 pm. We have a variety of equipment for all levels, including toddler skis!

Looking to test-ride the newest skis and snowboards before you commit to buying? Stop by Reba Sports and demo any ski or board in the shop!

Tuning and Repair

From waxes to race tuning, our tuning and repair shop offers various services to keep your gear in top condition.

Our ski techs fine-tune your skis, snowboards, and other equipment for a safe and comfortable ride.

Nastar

Nastar is open to the public and provides racing opportunities for skiers, snowboarders, and tele markers of all ages and abilities. Racers can compete within their age group and gender to win medals. Participants can qualify for the NASTAR National Championships each year.
