Season Opening Details: December 9th & December 10th 

We will be operating on off-peak pricing for opening weekend. 

CLOSED Dec.11th-Dec.15th, reopen 7 days a week starting Dec. 16th

Event Highlights for December 9th,2023:

8:55 am – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Mokelumne Express

Join us for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the start of this new chapter for Bear Valley. It’s the dawn of a new era, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

9:00am – First Chair Giveaways 

• Ski Lift Chair Giveaway (First Chair @ Mokelumne Express)
  • Be among the first 20 in line for the first chair at Mokelumne Express and receive an exclusive Bear Valley branded ski lift chair from Ski Life Designs! It’s a collector’s item you won’t want to miss.

Throughout the Day:

• Guest Services (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
  • Our Guest Services office opens its doors for pass pickups, waivers, and everything you need for an amazing day on the slopes.
• Ebbetts Cafeteria (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
  • Delicious meals and snacks available all day to keep you fueled up for the adventure.
  • 8am-10am: Breakfast 
  • 10:00-11:00am : Snacks available for purchase 
  • 11:00-3:00pm: Lunch 
  • 3:00-4:00pm: Snacks available for purchase
• Reba Sports (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
  • Explore our retail offerings and find the perfect gear for your skiing or snowboarding experience.
• Rentals/Repair Shop (8:30 am – 4:00 pm)
  • Open for rentals and repairs, ensuring your equipment is in top shape for the slopes.
• Monte Wolfe Saloon (10:00 am – 5:00 pm)
  • In need of a refreshing drink? Monte Wolfe Saloon has you covered.

Special Events Throughout the Day:

• Meet Santa Claus (11:00 am – 3:00 pm)
  • Capture the holiday spirit with a visit from Santa! Get your photo taken and create cherished memories.
• Raffle Station (11:00 am – 3:00 pm)
  • Enter to win NEW Bear Valley merchandise and raffle prizes  from our friends at SNAC, Sierra House, and Murphys Pourhouse. Drawings held every half hour!

Stevenot Winery Tasting (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm)

• Experience a delightful tasting flight of four wines on the Sundeck. Purchase your tasting at Monte Wolfe Bar and receive a wristband.

• Live Music by Daniel Kushnir (12:00 pm – 4:00 pm)
  • Live tunes on the sundeck while enjoying the mountain vibes.

Closing and Evening Entertainment:

As the day winds down, our activities come to a close at 4:00 pm at the resort, except for the Monte Wolfe Saloon, which will remain open until 5:00 pm.
