Operations Update – 1/11/24

Good morning, Bear Valley Skiers and Riders

I want to level set our expectations for the day with a heads-up on our mountain team’s plan for operations this morning.

Our priority will be snow safety this morning, with our Patrol Director Mattly and his team out early, working to assess our snowfall totals and the conditions on the mountain. Our grooming team worked overnight to provide the best conditions regionally. So, my friends, as soon as we have our Mtn team’s report in, we will announce our opening plans and get you all out on the mountain as safely and quickly as possible.

Our 24hr snow total is 10″

• Base: 36”

• Summit: 54”

• Snow Quality: #CertifiablyColdSmokePow | Skier and Rider pack

As for the road ahead, we have another system quickly approaching the region Friday – Sunday, so get ready for a great weekend of fresh snow and good vibes on the Mtn. For more information, visit our website or follow us on our socials.
