Operations Update

To Our Valued Guests,

We wanted to let you know that we will not turn lifts on Monday, Jan 8th and Tuesday, Jan 9th with plans to re-open our lift operations on Wednesday, Jan 10th.

Our snow-making, grooming, and mountain operations teams have done a great job of taking advantage of every weather window to allow us to open operations for the last several weeks and we are optimistic about  the forecast.  With a bit of natural, albeit wet, snow covering the last day or two, we’ve decided to move toward a temporary closure of the ski area Monday and Tuesday January 8-9 to enable our teams to preserve the snow pack/base on the hill with the goal of providing a better product and experience to our valued guests in the days ahead.

While this is not an optimal action for a winter resort, we are confident that mother nature will show her winter hand and we will have plenty of snow coming our way, allowing each of you to enjoy many days on the slopes this season.  We are grateful it is only January and hopeful that we will have a great season well into April 2018.

Keep your fingers crossed that the forecasted storms bring plenty of snowfall and colder temps in the weeks ahead and we will all put this dry December behind us!!  Thank you for your continued support.  We look forward to seeing you on the slopes Wednesday January 10th and hope you will make plans to join us for our festivities for MLK holiday (Winter Explosion).  We have a load of family fun planned.
