OPERATIONS UPDATE FOR 1.17.23

The recent storm has brought 29″ in the last 24hrs, 68″ in the last 72hrs.

Unforeseen circumstances such as CHP/CalTrans combined decision to close Hwy 4 today due to unsafe travel and the continued heavy snowfall, Bear Valley will be closed 1-17-2023 for storm recovery.

Our inability to transport many employees to and from the resort today has given us the decision to close tomorrow 1-17-2023 to recover and offer the best possible product of POW skiing and Riding when we reopen on 1-18-2023.

We hope you understand the weight of this decision but it is in our best interest to offer the safest experience for employees and guests alike.
