We have made the decision to push the opening date for this season. Good things are worth waiting for, and we want to make sure we have a good base on the mountain before we open for skiing/boarding. As many of our long-time guests and pass holders know, we always aim to open right around Thanksgiving, but this is, of course, weather dependant. Due to mother nature not cooperating with us and keeping things warm, our snowmaking has been slowed, and despite giving our best efforts, we will not be able to open for skiing and riding this Thanksgiving weekend. At this time, we do not have a projected opening date, but keep it locked to our social media for updates.
With that said, there will still be many things going on here at the resort! We will have our retail outlet Reba Sports and the Monte Wolfe Saloon open on the 27th! The season pass office will also be open for guests to pick up their passes. BVSEF will also be hosting the yearly ski swap in the Sunroom, so if you or your kids need some equipment, this is a great resource check out!
There will be live music from Jill and the Giants on Saturday night in the village, where we will have Creekside Bistro open for your culinary pleasure as well!
