MOUNTAIN UPDATES

A major storm is rolling in, bringing snow all the way down to base elevation. Expected snowfall totals are now ranging from 6 to 10 inches over the next 48 hours, with hopes of up to 2 feet by Tuesday.  Stay tuned for updates as we monitor this weekend’s weather!

Speaking of opening day, the countdown to Friday, November 29th and WinterFest Weekend is officially on! Join us for three days packed with live music, a ski swap, drink specials, a Christmas tree lighting, and more.

This season, we’re excited to welcome you back with a variety of upgrades across food and beverage, retail, and beyond. Stay tuned—we’ll have more details soon on projected lift openings, lessons, and hours for our on-hill venues as we gear up for an unforgettable start to the season.

We’ll see you on the slopes soon!

As we gear up for the 2024/25 winter season, we wanted to update you on our plans for Opening Day - NOVEMBER 29TH, 2024. While we originally hoped and were trying to open this Saturday, November 23rd, Mother Nature had other plans. The storms that passed through last week didn’t bring as much snow as we had anticipated, and warmer overnight temperatures made it challenging to sustain consistent snowmaking efforts. Despite our snowmaking team being ready to fire up the guns, the conditions simply didn’t allow us to produce enough snow for us to open.

With all this in mind, we’ve made the decision to move our Projected Opening Day back to Friday, November 29th (*weather/conditions permitting), just in time to celebrate the Thanksgiving weekend and kick off the season with our annual Winterfest Weekend!

We’re excited to share that the 10-day forecast shows promising snowfall that should help us build the perfect base for an incredible start to the season. Our operations team is hard at work preparing the slopes, and we’re confident the extra time will ensure that when the lifts start turning, it will be worth the wait.

We’re thrilled to invite you to Winterfest Weekend, where we’ll celebrate the season in style:

  • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (8:30 AM, Friday): Join us as we unveil the brand-new Cub Chair with a celebratory ribbon-cutting!

  • Giveaways: Be the first to make a purchase at participating venues for a chance to win special prizes!

  • Live Music & Festivities: Enjoy musical performances throughout the weekend, including Nathan Ignacio and Kiana Chanelle, plus food and drink specials from local favorites like Hinterhaus Distilling.

  • Sky High Pizza Specials: Wrap up your day with delicious offerings at Sky High Pizza.

We’re so grateful for your patience as we work toward delivering the best possible experience for you this winter. We share your excitement to hit the slopes, and we’re counting down the days to Projected Opening Day on November 29th.

With the storms on the horizon and a team of dedicated snowmakers, we’re confident the wait will be worth it. Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t forget to join us for a weekend of celebration and winter fun!
