MOUNTAIN UPDATES



The storm didn't deliver our expected totals for this weekend, but as of 6:00 AM today, we received another inch of fresh snow, and it’s currently snowing lightly at the mountain!


Looking ahead, more snow is projected over the next 48 hours, with Tuesday showing the highest probability of heavy snowfall. The new snowfall projections are 3"-5" possible on Monday during the day with 3"-7" additional possible on Monday night. Tuesday during the day the projection is 9"-13", and 5"-9" Tuesday night. 


Excitement remains high, with snowfall chances ranging from 21 - 36 inches from now to Thanksgiving. Tuesday is expected to deliver the heaviest accumulation, so stay tuned for updates!

The excitement is building as we gear up for Opening Day on 11/29! Yesterday’s storm added another inch of snow during the day, bringing the storm total to 11", as of 6am this morning we received another inch, bringing our new season snow total to 27" And there may be more on the way! New snowfall is projected in the next 48 hours.


Here's the projected forecast

  • Sunday: 1–2 inches possible

  • Sunday Night: 2–4 inches possible

  • Monday: 3–7 inches possible

  • Monday Night: 3–7 inches possible

8:00 AM Update: Our snow survey system stopped measuring after midnight due to the storm conditions, it is now back online and we received 10" of fresh snow overnight, kicking off this storm cycle with a bang! The mountain is transforming quickly, and there’s more snow on the way.


A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for elevations above 6,000 feet through 4:00 PM on Tuesday, November 26. Today, we’re expecting another 4 to 8 inches of fresh snow, with heavy accumulations of 1 to 4 feet possible through the weekend.


Our snowmaking team is working around the clock to add even more to the natural snowfall, creating the base for what’s shaping up to be a great Winterfest Wekend . Stay tuned for more updates on this storm and get ready for opening day!
