Bear Valley Mountain Season Pass FAQ

  1. Can I purchase my pass online?

  3. Is entering my credit card information online safe?
  4. Yes, we use the most current standards of encryption methods to ensure that your personal information remains safe.

  5. I would prefer not to purchase online, what are my options?
  6. You may fill out the season pass order form, include method of payment and return to us by mail according to instructions on the form. Your form must be postmarked April 30, 2010 by the USPS for the early season price guarantee. You may also visit us at the the Season Pass Office to register in person; this must be done by end of business day on April 30, 2010 to guarantee prices for this deadline.

  7. Where do I go if I need to have my picture taken and get my pass?
  8. Season Pass Office. Located on the lower level of the building. Open from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm weekends and holidays.

  9. Will it save me time to send in my photo?
  10. Yes! If your pass is all ready printed and in Will Call, you will get in and out of the Season Pass Office much more quickly.

  11. May I mail in my photo
  12. Yes! Season pass pictures need to be clear head shots with a plain background. You can send pictures via e-mail to seasonpass@bearvalley.com

  13. When is the Season Pass Office open for pickup?
  14. It is open 7 days a week during the ski season from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm weekends and holidays.

  15. Where is Will Call located?
  16. Will call is located in the front of the building next to the ticket windows. It is open 7 days a week during the ski season from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm weekends and holidays. Will Call is closed in the off season.

  17. Can my pass be mailed to me?
  18. We offer three options for mailing out season passes. Certified mail $6, Fed -Ex express saver $10, Fed-Ex overnite $20. We do require a signature on all passes sent out to insure its arrival.

  19. What will I need to bring with me when I pick up my pass (after purchasing online)?
  20. You will need a valid photo identification, and online purchase confirmation (you will receive and automated confirmation after purchasing online). You will also need to sign a liability release form upon pickup. For children, young adults and non-driving seniors, please bring a copy of your birth certificate or valid passport.

  21. Can someone else pick up my pass for me?
  22. No, the pass holder must pick up the pass for security purposes regardless of whether or not we have an existing photo.

  23. I am looking for Race Team pricing; where is it?

  25. What are the blackout dates for the Restricted Pass?
  26. 12/20/2010 through 1/2/2011, 1/15/2011 through 1/172011, 2/12/2011 through 2/14/2011, 2/19/2011 through 2/27/2011.

  27. What are the Pass Holder Benefits?
  28. May I use my vouchers or corporate tickets towards the purchase of my 10/11 Season Pass?
  29. No, sorry. This special spring time offer cannot be combined/ exchanged with any other discounted product.

  30. How do I know which age/ price range to purchase?
  31. Your age as of December 31. 2010 will be used if it is a factor in determining which pass you are eligible for. Please not that we have a new “Youth” age range. Please refer to www.bearvalley.com for details. Positive proof of age will be required at time of pick-up.

  32. What is the Mountain Meadow season pass?
  33. The Mountain Meadow pass is a season pass that works at both Bear Valley down hill and cross country ski areas.

  34. What if I purchase a pass and am unable to use it; may I get a refund or credit?
  35. No, sorry. The passes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred or credited by Bear Valley Mountain. You can protect your investment with skier insurance from http://bearvalley.skierguard.com/

  36. How will I be kept up to date regarding information and benefits?
  37. Whn you fill out your form be sure to include your e-mail address. Your e-mail address is proprietary and we do not sell it or give it out to any other company. It is for our use only.

  38. I have questions not answered here, what should I do?
