Bear Valley Village rests at 7,000′ on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada. Spectacular Bear Valley winters (boasting a 30 foot avg. annual snowfall) are followed by sensational summers, offering abundant outdoor adventure, annual music festivals, fishing, camping, exciting special events and a comfortable mountain climate.
Upon entering the quaint mountain village, visitors encounter a unique atmosphere far different from typical tourist areas. Bear Valley is home to a variety of shops, services, cabins, condominiums and mountain properties, not to mention clear mountain air, rivers, lakes & streams, towering pine trees and dramatic vistas in all directions. Located throughout the friendly walking village are a variety of sports, clothing, & gift shops, restaurants and lodges/hotels.
