Hey Good People!

Mostly sunny today with a high near 61. Southwest wind 5 to 14 mph becoming east southeast in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. As the weak high moves east weather will impact the upper most part of Norcal. The Coast range should see this impact and as the system moves Southeast in that region precip will lighten up and remain mostly above Hwy 80. Friday into Saturday we should see rain over The North/Central Sierra with a 40% chance on Saturday and light snow at the Pass levels. QPF is in the .10-.25 range so a less than 1/2 inch or so is possible as cold air mass behind this system could help with lowering snowfall totals. Not a Pass closer but a dusting on the High Peaks is likely. Below average temps will stick around into the start of next week……more on that later.
