Private Lessons

Take advantage of one-on-one training with a professional instructor to hone your skills and improve your experience on the slopes! Private lessons with a professional instructor can be booked hourly every day for both skiers and snowboarders as young as 3 years old. We offer 1 hour lessons for those who want one-on-one instruction and a quick tip for the day. We also offer 2 hour and 5 hour Friends and Family Privates that make learning with the family as fun as it gets! Private lessons do not include tickets or rental equipment.

 Full Day Family Private:  5 hours, 2-5 participants. Session runs from 9:30am – 2:30pm.

This is the perfect lesson for you and your family to arrive in the mountains and share a day of skiing or Snowboarding and enjoy the lesson experience together. This lesson includes one instructor for a 5 hour block during the day so that you can have the flexibility to take breaks when you need, have as long or short of a lunch as you desire, and work towards your lesson goals in a comfortable family group setting. 

Two Hour Private:  For 1-5 Participants. Sessions runs from 9:30am-11:30am or 1:30pm-3:30pm.

This lesson is perfect for kids or adults who want two hours of instruction to learn how to ski or board for the first time, or develop the next set of skills in their learning process. This is also a great lesson for a family to share the experience of learning in a private and comfortable lesson, and then have the rest of the day to go explore the mountain together. 

Lesson cancellation and rescheduling requests can be made by emailing lessons@bearvalley.com at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson. Cancelling or rescheduling will incur a $25 fee per lesson. Any cancellation or rescheduling requests received within 48hours of the lesson will not be refunded.
