Bear Valley Resorts is excited to welcome Henry Chaperont to our management team as Executive Chef and Senior Food and Beverage Manager for Bear Valley Mountain and Village. Henry is overseeing operations in the Village Center and at the Ski Area. This summer the Creekside dining room will boast the addition of a new bar, outdoor fireplace and improved outdoor seating for patrons to enjoy during the summer months. At Sky High, guests will enjoy an expanded menu including pizza, pasta, salads, steak, grilled chicken and a decadent selection of deserts. In addition guests will enjoy the new Creekside Café, opening soon, serving specialty coffees, breakfast and lunch selections baked in our kitchen.
Born in France, Chaperont is a veteran of the food and beverage industry, spanning several decades and boasting an impressive resume including Executive Chef positions at Heritage Grille in St. Petersburg, FL; Tortuga Club in the Grand Cayman Islands; and The Armory Restaurant in Perth Amboy, NJ. In addition, Chaperont owned Le Bistro in Colorado Springs, CO; spent time as a Private Chef & Manager in a prestigious New York Estate, and most recently was the Executive Chef for El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa in Taos, NM. Between his incredible background and world class experience, Chaperont’s dining expertise stands to impress and delight locals and out of town visitors.
