Sept. 22, 2008 . The Draft EIR, and studies conducted by the country are available at the Alpine County website . Alpine County will hold a public meeting to present the results and conclusions of the EIR. Attendees will be provided an opportunity to express their views about the EIR’s analysis and conclusions. August 2, 2008 - Bear Valley Lodge 10am, Cathedral lounge. Scoping session was held at Bear Valley Lodge in August. The entire Bear Valley Scoping package relates to proposed changes to the downhill ski and snowboard area, including the Village Lift. The entire document is available on the Forest Service Website. It will remain posted until a draft NEPA document is available for comment.
