Playing hookey for the day? Can't live without checking your emails? Bear Valley offers free WiFi services to our day guests. Our Hot Spot is located in the resort's Sun Room. Grab a latte and enjoy!

Bear Valley Village Shuttle
FREE shuttle service runs daily. Last bus from the Mountain to the Bear Valley Village Center is at 4:30pm.
WEEKDAY SCHEDULE: Shuttle leaves from the Bear Valley Village Center on the hour and from the Mountain Resort on the half hour. First bus to the Mountain is at 8am, and the last bus is at 4pm. **No shuttle service from 1pm & 2pm
WEEKEND/HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: Shuttle leaves from the Bear Valley Village Center and the Mountain every half hour. First bus to the Mountain is at 8am, and the last bus is at 5pm.

Resort Parking Lot Shuttle
Complimentary shuttle runs daily taking you between your car and the Mid-Mountain Lodge.

Day Care (ages 2+)

TEMPORAY DELAY IN CHILD CARE SERVICES
We are in the process of obtaining a new Child Care License but we will not receive it for this season.

For the 07/08 season we offer a play area for kids and parents everyday. The play room has toys, arts & crafts and kids movies, as well as a restroom and small tables for the kids to enjoy a lunch or a snack with a parent or caregiver. The play area is not supervised by Bear Valley staff, however check with our front office and they will try to connect you with local babysitters – advanced reservations are recommended as availability is limited. Photographers provide photographic services daily WEATHER PERMITTING. Up to a dozen photographers are stationed across the mountain to capture you, your friends and your family during their snow sports experience!!! Photographs are CAPTURED AT NO COST to you and proofs are available for same-day viewing in the base lodge at Bear Valley Mountain Resort as well as online at westworldimages.com.

In addition to our daily portraiture, action, lift, children’s ski school and special event coverage, West Word Images also offers custom photo privates with advanced reservation. If you are interested in locating a photographer, they can be found in the following locations: Base Lodge, Cub Chair, Super Cub Chair, Kuma Chair, Phenix Terrain Park, Phenix Half-Pipe and the Children’s Learning Area

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES

Breakfast – Warm up at our Cub Cafe & Espresso Bar and choose from pastries, muffins, bagels, coffee and tea, blended smoothies and quick breakfast snacks. Or for a complete breakfast visit the Hungry Bear Café. Choose from MacBears, Breakfast Burritos, Pancakes, side orders and much more.

Lunch – The Hungry Bear Café serves soups and chili, freshly prepared salads and deli sandwiches, tacos and burritos, burgers, fries, pizza, nachos, Philly cheese & meatball sandwiches, freshly prepared salads, fresh fruit, yogurts and fresh-baked cookies. Enjoy a panoramic view of our upper mountain while you have lunch.

Après Ski – At the end of the day, head to the Hungry Bear Café for nachos, chili cheese fries, chicken strips, fish-n-chips and more. The Monte Wolfe Saloon serves up drink specials and appetizers with endless views of the Mokelumne Canyon, and a warm and friendly, rustic mountain atmosphere.

Sundeck Bbq– When the sun is shining on weekends and peak days, Bear Valley rolls out JB’s BBQ and music on the main sundeck. Serves up mouth-watering tri-tip, chicken sandwiches, cowboy beans and all the trimmings. It’s the perfect venue for friends and family to share stories of their Mountain exploration.
