Just for Kids

child_lessonsRegistration for CubClub – Skiing Bears (ski) and Cub Riders (snowboard)  is based on space availability determined by instructor/child ratios. Walk-ins are welcomed daily and will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis – Reservations are highly recommended, especially for holidays and weekends.

Arrive Early!

Hitting the slopes with the wee ones can be an organizational challenge. Our goal is to ensure you have a great ski/snowboard lesson experience and arriving early is important! Families need to arrive at least ONE HOUR ahead of their desired lesson time (1.5 HOURS DURING HOLIDAYS) to purchase packages, get fitted with rental equipment and still have time to grab a quick snack and visit the restroom before heading out to the lesson meeting area.

Lessons Products for Ages 4-8

A 300’carpet lift and friendly instructors create the perfect learning environment for your beginner snow angels before moving up to the Cub Chair and beyond. Our basic program includes adult supervision, lift ticket, equipment and a 1.5 hour ski or snowboard group lesson. We highly recommend starting snowboard lessons at age 7.

Lessons for Ages 4-8  
One Lesson with Equipment Rental – Meet at the lesson area 10-15 minutes before lesson time
Lesson Times: 10am, 12pm, or 2pm		 $84
One Lesson without Equipment Rental
(does not include ticket)

Half Day Program – Student Drop off 9:45am
1.5 Hour lesson beginning at 10am
Children move to the “ClubHouse” for snacks, lunch/playtime
Parent Pick-up – 1:30pm		 $105

Lesson Products for Ages 9-12

Ski or snowboard group lesson, lift and rental packages for this age range are available daily; no reservations. Purchase at the Snowsports Learning Center or at the equipment rental shop. Classes are organized by comparable ages and ability levels. Child packages include an all-day, all-mountain lift ticket, complete ski or snowboard equipment rental and the group lesson.

Lessons for Ages 9-12  
One Lesson with Equipment Rental and lift ticket

(Please note that group lessons with 1-2 participants will last 1 hour; 3+ participants are 1.5 hours)

Private Lessons (all ages)

Take advantage of the absolute best way
to gain skills and experience on the slopes, in a one-on-one lesson with a professional Bear Valley instructor. Available on the hour from 9AM through 3PM, for both skiers and snowboarders.
