Add some pizazz to your winter and visit Bear Valley for this fun and challenging backcountry snowshoe adventure.  Stomp across snow covered ridges and bowls and soak in the splendors of the alpine environment.  Along the way your guide will share natural history and backcountry travel tips. This trip typically covers 4-6 miles through a variety of terrain in a non-motorized area along the Mokelumne Wilderness. The vistas are world-class so don’t miss out on this opportunity to explore a winter wonderland with MAS.

We’ll offer two different courses of vertical challenges for novice and advanced racers. We’re broadening this “randonee” race to include all hedonists: alpine tourers, telemarkers and splitboarders.
