This event, which benefits the Vallecito Mujsic Booster Club, takes place at Bear Valley Cross Country on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Â Events will be offered for all abilities, including a 1 mile Run/Walk for ages 9 & under; a 5K Junior Race (ages 10 & up) and an Adult 10K Race.
Bear Valley Cross Country will host the 40th Annual Bjornloppet XC Ski Race and Festival on March 9th and March 10th, 2013! This is one of the longest running ski races in the west and it is open to all ages!  In addition, the California Senior Winter Games will be held that same weekend. Bjornloppet athletes age 50 and up can participate in the Bjornloppet races and use their race results for both the Bjornloppet and for the California Senior Winter Games gold, silver and bronze medals.
Join us in the spectacular Cathedral Lounge for an opportunity to taste award-winning local wines. Murphys’ climate closely imitates the superb wine regions in France and produces some of the best wines in the state. Come meet the wine makers, learn how wine styles are created, and the unique characteristics of Calaveras County wines.
