This trip typically covers 4-6 miles through a variety of terrain in a non-motorized area along the Mokelumne Wilderness. BV Cross Country – Jazz Trax Snowshoe Stomp

This event, which benefits the Vallecito Mujsic Booster Club, takes place at Bear Valley Cross Country on Saturday, February 23, 2013.  Events will be offered for all abilities, including a 1 mile Run/Walk for ages 9 & under; a 5K Junior Race (ages 10 & up) and an Adult 10K Race.

Do you have a desire to skin up, ski down and then do it again? If so, the Bear Valley Adventure Race is your venue for thrill and skill in both resort and backcountry terrain*. We’ll offer two different courses of vertical challenges for novice and advanced racers. We’re broadening this “randonee” race to include all hedonists: alpine tourers, telemarkers and splitboarders.

California Senior Winter Games and BV Cross Country – Bjornloppet Ski Race & Festival

Bear Valley Cross Country will host the 40th Annual Bjornloppet XC Ski Race and Festival on March 9th and March 10th, 2013! This is one of the longest running ski races in the west and it is open to all ages!  In addition, the California Senior Winter Games will be held that same weekend. Bjornloppet athletes age 50 and up can participate in the Bjornloppet races and use their race results for both the Bjornloppet and for the California Senior Winter Games gold, silver and bronze medals.
