NASTAR recreational racing returns  to Bear Valley this season after a very successful inaugural season that saw Bear Valley host more NASTAR race starts than any other California resort. Again, we plan to hold over 20 races this coming season.
Hungry? Good, because we got you covered. On February 16 at 6PM in the Perry Walther Building get your grub on with the CRAB FEED! Prices are $30 Adult / $15 Child. You get Dungeness crab, spaghetti,  salad and dessert. All proceeds benefit – Bear Valley Music Festival. This event, which benefits the Vallecito Mujsic Booster Club, takes place at Bear Valley Cross Country on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Â Events will be offered for all abilities, including a 1 mile Run/Walk for ages 9 & under; a 5K Junior Race (ages 10 & up) and an Adult 10K Race.

Bear Valley Cross Country will host the 40th Annual Bjornloppet XC Ski Race and Festival on March 9th and March 10th, 2013! This is one of the longest running ski races in the west and it is open to all ages!  In addition, the California Senior Winter Games will be held that same weekend. Bjornloppet athletes age 50 and up can participate in the Bjornloppet races and use their race results for both the Bjornloppet and for the California Senior Winter Games gold, silver and bronze medals.
