Add some pizazz to your winter and visit Bear Valley for this fun and challenging backcountry snowshoe adventure. Stomp across snow covered ridges and bowls and soak in the splendors of the alpine environment. Along the way your guide will share natural history and backcountry travel tips. This trip typically covers 4-6 miles through a variety of terrain in a non-motorized area along the Mokelumne Wilderness. Immerse yourself during this full day of telemark instruction. Small groups (4 people max) of similar ability focus on skills relavent to the group and snow conditions. Small class size enables personalized attention and plenty of skiing. Come prepared for a day of learning, skiing and fun.

This event, which benefits the Vallecito Mujsic Booster Club, takes place at Bear Valley Cross Country on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Â Events will be offered for all abilities, including a 1 mile Run/Walk for ages 9 & under; a 5K Junior Race (ages 10 & up) and an Adult 10K Race.
