Here We Go! (01/21/12)

Hope you can see the ruler with 8” on it, on the Sun Deck. All that snow fell after the 3.2” of rain we had thru the night. This morning lifts are on a slight icing and flooding delay but most will be open by at least 10a if not before. (Cub & Panda currently water delay for the day)

Still not enough to get out to track pack, but because of the density we are moving that way quickly, with 7 to 10” in forecast, it could be tonight.

Rain Wind and Snow – oh my.

Hi Wayne – Well winter is finally here and more of the mtn is opening daily. As to getting the value of your pass – the good news is that this year is a leap year giving you an extra day! The bad news is that there are only 80 (+/-) days left of the regular season. So doing the math, that equates to about $3.75 a day – i am not sure you can find that kind of entertainment value any where else – so lets go cut up some groom, shred a line & most just enjoy being in the mountains. Cheers, Jim

    as for skiing BV….
the gun snow was actually really good and with
poo chair open people were skiing lap after lap
with no lines, heck my pass is almost paid for.
the way I see it skiing is skiing,
be in on groomers, powder, gun snow, or
    spring corn. its all skiing,
plus, think people who bought a pass to Donner
they have not even opened up yet. I feel lucky
to have gotten days of No Lines and Sun and
now its time to switch gears and rev it up…
see you all on the slopes.

Ok, we finally got some snow. Now please get more of the mountain open. I’m a season pass holder, and I’m looking forward to getting my money out of it. Since I bought at the end of last year, I got to ski one day…lol.
