Dear Friend of Bear Valley,
This letter is intended to provide an update of our project approval progress, our current projected ground-breaking for Phase I and a clarification of other projects also occurring in Bear Valley at this time.
During the public presentations of our village concept in July of 2006, we received valuable feedback from those who attended. Since that time, we have worked to incorporate this information into our Master Plan and project description; your suggestions were very helpful.
Our project will undergo an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) as part of the entitlement phase, which is projected to commence in February of 2007. We are hopeful that the entitlement phase and EIR process will be complete by spring of 2008. While it is our desire to obtain County approvals for a 2008 Phase I construction start, we are sensitive to the time required for a high quality design and the time required for the approval process and environmental review. We will continue to send periodic updates of our progress as more information becomes available.
We have recently received many inquiries concerning other condominium developments in Bear Valley, most asking if Silver Mountain is part of our proposed project. For clarification, Silver Mountain is not part of our development.
